A few days ago, the Emergency Management Department of the Earthquake Relief Headquarters Office of The State Council and the People's Government of Gansu Province jointly held the "Emergency Mission 2022" earthquake relief exercise in the Alpine plateau region in Zhangye City, Gansu Province. The 160-ton railway crane independently developed by CRRC Qi Locomotive Co., Ltd. played the main role in this practical railway exercise, participating in the rescue and rescue team of the oversized locomotive accident of China-Europe freight train, and helping to build a solid defense line for disaster prevention, reduction and relief.

The special emergency drill simulated the accident of the train derailment and container falling caused by the earthquake. 160 tons of railway crane is mainly used to lift the whole locomotive and fully loaded containers and rescue the track. The whole exercise process was rapid, orderly, very smooth, and achieved the expected results.

The drill fully tested the advanced and reliable emergency rescue capability of the model in plateau areas and cold conditions, and accumulated valuable experience for the decomposition, assembly and on-site debugging of large tonnage cranes.
