On April 24, the first section of Fuzhou metro Line 5, equipped with b-type electric buses developed by CRRC Tangshan Co., LTD., began a three-day free trial ride. It is the first line in Fujian province to achieve full 5G coverage for civil communications. The first section of Fuzhou Metro Line 5 starts from Houyu Station in Jingxi and ends at Luozhou Guzhen Station. The total length of the line is about 22.4km, with 17 stations, all of which are underground lines.

The decoration style of the train is mainly simple, with elegant purple as the decoration color, conveying a steady and generous visual impression; The door is equipped with a 43-inch LCD dynamic display, which can not only show the specific number of passengers, but also add specific directions such as toilets, barrier-free lifts and exit directions. The carriage is equipped with wheelchair fixator, which can be fixed by simple operation. The seat is made of stainless steel which is easy to maintain for a long time.

Fuzhou Metro Line 5 train was officially put into operation in December 2020 in Quanzhou CRRC Tangche Company, and the train entered fuzhou metro depot in July 2021. After carrying out the system debugging of the train, cooperating with users to complete the pre-acceptance of the signal and communication system, and cooperating with the expert group to complete the pre-opening and operation review, Fuzhou Metro Line 5 officially ushered in the opening and trial operation of the first section.
