At 9 PM on May 5th local time in Argentina, WITH the assistance of CRRC Latin America, CRRC Tangshan co., Ltd. and Argentina's Huhui Province signed the new energy light rail project through "cloud contract", which will be the first time for China's new energy light rail train to serve Argentina.

CRRC Tangshan company is in line with the green and low-carbon economic development policy of Huhui Province with the design concept of green travel, comfort and safety. This type of new energy light rail train adopts six-axis articulated form, two cars are grouped, the maximum running speed is 60km/h, both ends are equipped with cab, two-way driving, two trains can relink operation, the maximum carrying capacity of 72 people. For the first time, the train will be powered by lithium batteries and will be powered by the abundant solar power in The Province of Huhui for tourism in Argentina's Unawaca scenic area, which was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site in 2003.

In November 2013, CRRC Tangshan obtained the purchase order of rail vehicles for Bergraeno South Line from Argentina, to develop a 27-meter rail internal combustion EMUS for Argentina to replace the original old models of Bergraeno South Line. On April 15, 2015, The first Chinese internal combustion emU exported to Argentina rolled off the production line and was shipped to Argentina by sea. It was the first time that China's internal combustion EMU was exported to Argentina. On November 11, 2015, CRRC Tangshan completed the delivery of all 27 meters rail internal combustion EMUS exported to Argentina. The "Made in China" trains have advanced technology and perfect facilities, which have been widely recognized by the Argentine government and people. In addition to exporting vehicles to Argentina, CRRC Tangshan signed spare parts supply contracts with Argentine owners in 2019 and 2022, further consolidating the "product + service" business model.
